Formland Spring 2025 – My Highlights and Interior Trends to Explore
My Trip to Formland Spring 2025
In this blog, I want to share my experience at Formland Spring 2025. For those who are unfamiliar with Formland, it is a trade fair where both Danish and international brands showcase their new collections. But it’s more than just a marketplace—it’s a space filled with inspiration, networking, and a glimpse into the trends that will shape the coming seasons.

This year, Formland felt different for me. In the past, I attended as a webshop owner, searching for products to stock in my store. This time, I stepped into the fair as an interior design blogger, with a new perspective and purpose. Instead of looking at products purely from a retail standpoint, I was there to explore brands, discover the season’s colors and materials, and dive deeper into how sustainability is influencing design choices.
I could feel a different energy in me this time. It felt like I was exactly where I was meant to be—fully embracing my role and passion. That made this season much more meaningful to me than in previous years.
With that in mind, I want to take you through some of the key moments from my visit: the brands that caught my attention, the design trends that stood out, and the inspiring details that made this trip truly special.

1. The Mood of Formland 2025
This season, I felt that everything had its place—there was room for bold statements, timeless classics, and everything in between. The color palettes were diverse, ranging from deep, moody shades to soft, light tones, with plenty of classic neutrals in between.
But if I had to define the overall mood at Formland this year, it would be personality and quality. There was a strong emphasis on handcrafted details, multifunctional design, and authenticity—you could truly sense the honesty in the materials and craftsmanship. Natural elements like wood, leather, and metal played a key role, reinforcing the idea that great design is not just about aesthetics but also about longevity and purpose.
The atmosphere was inspiring, with each stand telling its own story. It was a reminder that interior design is not just about trends but about creating spaces that feel personal and meaningful.

2. My Favorite Brands & Discoveries
There were many brands and designers that caught my eye at Formland this season, each with their own unique design DNA. But what truly stood out was how many of them shared the same core values: exceptional craftsmanship, high-quality materials, sustainability, aesthetics, and functionality.
A few brands that especially resonated with me were Moud Home, Humdakin, and HAY. Each of them embodies a different aspect of Scandinavian design, yet they all prioritize thoughtful craftsmanship and timeless beauty.

- Moud Home impressed me with its refined approach to home essentials—beautiful, functional, and made to last.
- Humdakin continues to elevate everyday cleaning and home care with a sustainable, aesthetic-first mindset, proving that even the smallest details can bring joy.
- HAY remains a favorite for its playful yet sophisticated designs, blending modern innovation with classic Scandinavian minimalism.
Seeing these brands up close reminded me why I love interior design—it’s not just about decorating a space, but about curating a home that feels personal, meaningful, and inspiring.
3. Interior Trends to Watch
Walking through Formland Spring 2025, I couldn’t help but notice how this season’s trends embrace both warmth and personality while staying true to the essence of Scandinavian design. There’s a beautiful balance between functionality, craftsmanship, and individuality, making homes feel more curated and lived-in rather than purely styled.
Here are a few key trends that stood out to me:
Soft Minimalism with a Personal Touch
Minimalism is shifting towards warmth and comfort, featuring organic shapes, rich textures, and neutral tones that create a cozy yet refined atmosphere.

Bold Contrasts & Statement Colors
While many interiors stick to muted palettes, bold accent colors like deep blue, forest green, and warm terracotta are gaining popularity. These shades add depth and personality without overpowering the space’s calm vibe.
Handcrafted & Sustainable Materials
Natural materials like wood, leather, metal, and wool are everywhere, often in handmade or small-batch designs. The focus is on authenticity and durability, with each piece telling its own story.

I can already imagine incorporating these trends into my own home! Whether it’s adding a bold color pop, investing in timeless handcrafted pieces, or embracing a softer minimalism, these ideas make me excited to refresh my space.
4.How You Can Bring These Trends Into Your Home
One of the things I love most about interior trends is how easily they can be adapted to everyday living. You don’t need a full home makeover—just a few thoughtful changes can refresh your space . Here’s how you can bring them into your home:
– Play with Color Accents – If you’re drawn to the bold color contrasts I saw at Formland, start small. Add a deep blue cushion, a forest green vase, or a soft pink throw blanket to your space. Even a single statement piece in a rich, moody hue can create a beautiful contrast in a neutral setting.
-Invest in Timeless Quality – Sustainability and craftsmanship were key themes at the fair, and they’re a great mindset to bring into your home. Consider investing in a well-crafted chair, a unique piece of art from a local artist, or a beautifully aged vintage find. These are the kinds of pieces that not only elevate your decor but also stand the test of time.
–Mix Old with New – To create a home that feels personal and effortless, blend modern elements with vintage or handmade pieces. Pair a sleek Scandinavian vase with an antique wooden table, or layer a handwoven rug over a minimalist floor. The contrast between old and new adds depth and tells a story.
–Embrace Natural Textures – Materials like wood, linen, stone, and ceramic bring warmth and authenticity to any space. Swap out plastic or synthetic decor for organic materials to create a more inviting, timeless atmosphere.

The beauty of these trends is that they aren’t about following fleeting fashions—they’re about curating a home that feels intentional, lived-in, and uniquely yours.
